Sydney

Leaving Broome, our final stop was Sydney (via Perth) and a stay with the abundant Australian branch of the McLaren family. Heaven for the kids with a plethora of tv channels and video games, the hardest thing was getting the whole family in one place for the mandatory photo.
Sydney as always is a great place to visit and took the kids to all the tourist spots during a lovely spell of winter weather (marred only by a spectacular and unusual hailstorm perhaps preparing us for a return to Dunedin).
Excellent aquarium at Darling harbour and the water features outside made entertaining us all easy.
And so to home with the realities of work, unpacking the house and a major drop in temperatures to look forward to. But also a really comfortable bed, the capability of cooking our own meals and friends and family to see. On balance very much looking forward to home after a fabulous trip.
