Roatan, Honduras

Obviously the travel just keeps getting harder and harder.
The island of Roatan is 50km off the coast of Honduras, surrounded by crystal clear Caribbean waters with a large coral reef just off-shore. The diving (for Blair) and snorkelling for all others is fabulous with innumerable types of brightly coloured fish and coral easily seen even on a short snorkel from the beach.
Our hotel balcony overlooked the bay where we could watch the sun drop into the water each evening.


Homesick for Dunedin`s coming winter (not)

Local transport between the various bays was by water taxi.
